Contributions to Promoting a Culture of Respect for National Patriots
Seungil Jeon, Chairman of the Gwangju Seo-gu Council, received a plaque of appreciation from the Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs in recognition of his contributions to promoting a culture of respect for national patriots and implementing veterans' policies.
This plaque was awarded to commemorate his achievements in providing institutional support for the social respect and recognition of national patriots.
Chairman Jeon has worked to establish a systematic foundation for the installation of priority parking zones for national patriots, including sponsoring the "Ordinance on the Installation and Operation of Priority Parking Zones for National Patriots in Gwangju Seo-gu" as part of efforts to spread a culture of respect for national patriots.
Through these efforts, he has established a basis for related policies to be operated continuously, rather than as one-off projects.
Chairman Seungil Jeon stated, "Respect for national patriots should not remain a mere declaration but must be supported by institutions and policies," adding, "Going forward, the Seo-gu Council will continue to fulfill its responsibilities to create a community where national patriots are respected."
