The police, who are investigating allegations of political lobbying by the Unification Church, have conducted an additional search and seizure at the office of the special prosecutor investigating Kim Keon Hee.
The Special Investigation Task Force of the National Office of Investigation announced on December 31 that it had carried out a search and seizure at the special prosecutor's office for Kim Keon Hee that afternoon.
The police explained that this measure was taken to secure additional materials related to allegations of politicians receiving money and valuables, which had been referred by the special prosecutor's team.
The police had previously conducted a search and seizure at the special prosecutor's office on December 15, citing the need to secure omitted materials.
