The company announced that Joo Woojung, CEO of Hyundai Engineering, visited the construction site of "Hyundai Terra Tower Sema Station" in Osan, Gyeonggi Province on the 31st to conduct a safety inspection.
He inspected areas vulnerable to safety risks during winter, as well as cold weather protection facilities and supplies, and also took time to listen to the opinions of site employees. As the final schedule of the year, this visit was carried out as part of a winter site safety inspection relay campaign organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Including CEO Joo, the company's management conducted a total of 1,462 site safety inspections throughout the year.
To prevent safety accidents during the winter season, the company inspected risk factors in vulnerable areas and operated heated rest areas to prevent cold-related illnesses among workers. For sensitive groups such as elderly workers, body temperature and blood pressure were measured before starting work. When working in confined spaces, gas detectors were installed to measure the concentration of hazardous gases, and the use of personal gas detectors was made mandatory. The company plans to hold a simultaneous safety resolution meeting at all sites on January 5.
