Uijeongbu City Successfully Concludes
2025 Public-Private Partnership Social Welfare Project Performance Report Meeting
Uijeongbu City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Donggeun) held the "2025 Public-Private Partnership Social Welfare Project Performance Report Meeting" at the Uijeongbu City Social Welfare Center on the 29th, sharing the year's major achievements and commending outstanding contributors.

This meeting was organized to review the outcomes of social welfare projects jointly promoted by the public and private sectors, encourage the efforts of outstanding participating organizations, strengthen the foundation of local welfare, and promote the ongoing activation of these projects.
The event was attended by 44 people, including Mayor Kim Donggeun, members of the project promotion committee, and representatives from participating organizations. The meeting consisted of a presentation on the status of the 2025 public-private partnership projects, an award ceremony for contributors to project activation, and a presentation of exemplary cases.
This year, a total of 59 social welfare institutions, facilities, and organizations participated in the project, submitting 404 applications. Of these, 300 projects were selected and received approximately 2.9 billion won in funding.
For their contributions to activating the public-private partnership projects, five organizations received institutional commendations: Jangam General Social Welfare Center, Uijeongbu Senior Welfare Center, Uijeongbu Disabled Welfare Center, Forest for Trees Regional Children's Center, and Uijeongbu City Hope Recovery General Support Center. In addition, Kangwon Ji, Secretary General of the Uijeongbu Center for Independent Living for the Disabled, received an individual commendation.
Among them, Jangam General Social Welfare Center and Forest for Trees Regional Children's Center, which were selected as exemplary organizations, shared their field experiences and achievements, emphasizing the effectiveness of the projects and the importance of public-private cooperation.
Mayor Kim Donggeun stated, "It is your efforts, prioritizing citizens and taking one step at a time on the ground, that have led to such significant changes. I will continue to actively support the further spread of these achievements to realize 'Care for All' in Uijeongbu."
