Starbucks Offers "Fortune Cookie Pouch Keyring" with Purchases Over 30,000 Won

Starbucks Korea announced on December 31 that starting January 1, customers who spend 30,000 won or more, including handcrafted beverages, will receive a "Fortune Cookie Pouch Keyring" (hereafter referred to as the pouch keyring) on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. A fortune cookie is a crispy snack containing a slip of paper with a fortune written on it. The pouch keyring is designed to replicate the shape of a fortune cookie and can be used both to store small items and as a bag accessory. Inside the pouch keyring, there is also a slip of paper with a New Year’s message from Starbucks.

In addition, 26 of the pouch keyrings will contain a voucher redeemable for a gold coin (worth 3.75 grams of gold) engraved with Starbucks’ signature siren logo. Winners can follow the instructions on the voucher to claim the actual gold coin.


This event is available to customers who order 30,000 won or more, including handcrafted beverages, either through in-store partners or Siren Order. As the event is limited in quantity, each customer can receive up to two pouch keyrings per purchase.


A "First Visit of the New Year Event" will also be held. On January 1, the first 26 customers to visit each store upon opening will receive one Double Espresso Cream Latte (Tall) and one Red Horse sticker.


Lee Sangmi, Starbucks Marketing Manager, said, "To celebrate the New Year, we created this event inspired by fortune cookies to bring good luck to each and every customer visiting our stores," adding, "We hope you start the coming year energetically with this special gift prepared by Starbucks."


Meanwhile, starting January 1, Starbucks will launch the "May’s Bakery Low Sugar Walnut Red Bean Bread," developed in collaboration with May’s Bakery, known for its bread that highlights the original flavors of its ingredients, at Starbucks locations nationwide.
