A total of 206 housing units, including 99 Mirinae Home units for newlywed couples, will be supplied at Segok Complex 6, the last public housing site within the Gangnam Segok National Rental Housing District.

On December 31, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the 5th Public Housing Integrated Review Committee had conditionally approved the “Segok National Rental Housing District Complex 6 Housing Construction Project Plan Amendment (Draft)” for the area around 192 Segok-dong. With this decision, the supply of public housing within the last project site in the Segok National Rental Housing District has been completed.

Segok Complex 6 will be developed on a site of 9,574.30 square meters, with two basement levels and up to 12 floors above ground. The housing units will offer a variety of floor plans and sizes (exclusive areas of 47, 51, and 84 square meters) by building. A mix of rental and for-sale units will be provided to promote social integration through a social mix. In total, 206 units will be supplied, including 99 Mirinae Home units and 107 public sale units.

The city plans to create a three-dimensional skyline that harmonizes with the natural scenery of the Segok Stream by utilizing terrace-style community spaces and stepped building designs, while also implementing an open layout. In addition, community facilities such as libraries, welcome lounges, senior centers, and fitness facilities will be concentrated on the first and basement floors of each building facing the Segok Stream, strengthening communication with the local area centered around the stream. After obtaining approval for the amended housing construction project plan in the first half of next year, construction is scheduled to begin in the second half, with completion targeted for 2028.

The city stated, "With the approval of this review, the Segok Complex 6 housing construction project will move forward in earnest. Once the supply of public housing within the district is completed, we expect the residential complex to harmonize with the surrounding landscape, including the Segok Stream, and contribute to residential stability and local revitalization."
