'Hope Book Direct Loan System' to Launch Next Year
Up to 2 Books Per Month Can Be Requested at 21 Local Bookstores
Starting next year, residents of Yongin City, Gyeonggi Province will be able to borrow and read books not available in libraries directly from local bookstores.
On December 30, Yongin City announced that it will implement the 'Hope Book Direct Loan System' beginning January 2 of next year.
This system allows users to request books not owned by the library and borrow them directly from local bookstores. Any full member of the Yongin City Library can request and borrow new books from bookstores within the region.
Each person can request up to 2 books per month and up to 10 books per year. The loan period is 14 days, with a one-time extension of 7 days available.
