Pocheon City Visits Industrial Sites in Gonnae and Seondan
to Address Business Challenges
Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province continued its business communication administration by visiting Juseong Construction in Gonnae-myeon and Saeum Co., Ltd. in Seondan-dong on December 26 to listen to and address business difficulties.
The site visit was attended by the Mayor of Pocheon, the Director of the Economic and Environmental Bureau, the Head of the Corporate Support Division, the Head of the Industrial Team in Gonnae-myeon, the Head of Seondan-dong, Kang Geunmo, the head of Guip 1-ri, Na Sunhee, the head of Seolun 2-tong, Baek Myeonghyeon, CEO of Juseong Construction, and Park Jieun, Vice President of Saeum Co., Ltd.
Juseong Construction is a local company that began in Sinbuk-myeon in 2015 and relocated to Gonnae-myeon in 2019. The company manufactures and installs zinc roofs and other products for new buildings.
Saeum Co., Ltd. was established as a corporation in 2008 and relocated from Gimpo to Pocheon in January 2025. The company specializes in the manufacturing of intelligent transportation systems such as smart bus stops, smart shelters, and intelligent poles (smart poles).
A Pocheon City official stated, "We will consider incorporating the contractors into the Education Community Center, Ildong Complex Community Center, Integrated Childcare Support Center, and senior centers." The official also suggested, "If smart bus stops are installed at key locations in each town and township, citizens will be able to use public transportation more safely and conveniently," proposing a review of their introduction.
