Palisade Leads in Sales Growth, K8 Tops in View Increase
The Hyundai Grandeur has secured the top spot in both sales and views on KB Capital's used car trading platform, "KB Chachacha."
According to KB Capital on December 30, an analysis of sales and view data from the beginning of this year through last month showed that the Grandeur ranked first in both sales and views. The Hyundai Palisade recorded the highest increase in sales, while the Kia K8 saw the largest increase in views. KB Chachacha currently offers around 150,000 domestic and imported vehicles for sale.
Following the Grandeur, the Kia Carnival, Hyundai Avante, Kia Morning, and Hyundai Sonata ranked second to fifth in sales, respectively. Sales of the Grandeur increased by 2.7% compared to the previous year.
The Palisade saw its sales rise by 2,512 units year-on-year. The steady increase in demand for large sport utility vehicles (SUVs) appears to have heightened customer interest.
The Grandeur also ranked first in views, followed by the Hyundai Avante, Kia Carnival, Hyundai Sonata, and Hyundai Genesis G80. The Grandeur received approximately 160,000 more views than the second-place Avante. All of the top five vehicles saw their view counts increase by about 10% compared to the previous year.
Meanwhile, KB Capital announced that it will hold a year-end and New Year event on KB Chachacha from December 22 through January 9. Fifty customers who correctly guess the top-selling used car of the year will be selected by lottery to receive dining gift certificates.
