This commendation aims to honor organizations that have contributed to the expansion of online materials and the enhancement of public access to knowledge and information. One organization was selected in each of the three categories: online material deposit, online material collection, and regional material deposit.

Hakjisa contributed to the spread of the online material deposit culture by depositing over 1,200 online materials and achieving a significant increase in deposit rate compared to the previous year. The Korea Digital Advertising Association provided the National Library of Korea with approximately 380 award-winning works from the "Korea Digital Advertising Awards," making advertising video materials, which were previously difficult to access, freely available to the public through the national system. The Gyeongnam Provincial Library actively participated in the Regional Material Collection Council operated by the National Library of Korea, thereby contributing to the cooperation in the collection, preservation, and utilization of regional and local materials between the national library and regional representative libraries.

Kim Heeseop, Director of the National Library of Korea, stated, "I sincerely thank the award-winning organizations for faithfully fulfilling their obligations and cooperating in the deposit of online materials," and added, "We will continue to fulfill our role as a 'hub of knowledge' that realizes Korea's status as a digital cultural powerhouse through multifaceted cooperation with related organizations in the digital era."
