[New Year’s Address] INNOBIZ President Jung Gwangcheon: “We Will Resolve Uncertainties in Utilizing On-Site Data”

"The Year of Soaring Globally"

Jung Gwangcheon, President of the INNOBIZ Association, announced that in the upcoming Byeong-o Year, the association will pursue institutional reforms to help manufacturing-based INNOBIZ companies resolve uncertainties in utilizing on-site data.

On the 30th, in his New Year’s address, President Jung declared, “We will proclaim 2026 as ‘the year of innovation through AI and soaring globally,’” and made these remarks.

He stated, “This year, despite rapid changes and challenges, INNOBIZ companies have never let the flame of technological innovation die out and have served as a solid backbone of the Korean economy. In particular, in line with the launch of the new administration, we focused on communicating with key government agencies such as the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Public Procurement Service to establish an institutional foundation suitable for the AI era.”

He then presented key initiatives for the coming year. President Jung emphasized, “Although management conditions will become more complex due to increased exchange rate volatility and changes in the global order next year, these will actually present new opportunities for well-prepared companies. We will pursue institutional reforms to resolve uncertainties in utilizing on-site data for manufacturing-based INNOBIZ companies.”

He added, “We will firmly establish a support system covering the entire cycle from development, demonstration, certification, to securing initial customers, so that R&D achievements lead to real ‘profitable innovation’ in the market. Furthermore, we will accelerate ‘global expansion’ through local networks, going beyond simple exports, and prove the competitiveness of our member companies on the global stage.”

President Jung concluded, “Just as horses can go farther and safer when running together, I will always walk the path of technological innovation as a reliable companion to our member companies.”
