According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, as of 5 a.m., the temperatures in major regions are as follows: Seoul -3.2°C, Incheon -2.4°C, Suwon -2.9°C, Chuncheon -5.5°C, Gangneung 2.6°C, Cheongju -0.9°C, Daejeon -1.5°C, Jeonju -1.8°C, Gwangju 1.5°C, Jeju 8.5°C, Daegu 3.4°C, Busan 5.4°C, Ulsan 3.1°C, and Changwon 5.0°C. Daytime temperatures are forecast to range from 0°C to 9°C.
In areas with low temperatures, ground fog may freeze, creating icy patches on the roads, so drivers are advised to reduce speed when driving.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to be at 'good' to 'moderate' levels across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
Waves in the sea are expected to reach 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea nearshore. In offshore areas within about 200 kilometers from the coastline, wave heights are forecast to be 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
