Campsite Disturbance Controversy... Lee Siyoung Apologizes: "Sorry to Those Inconvenienced"

Event Held with Microphone and Treasure Hunt
"I Thought There Were No Other Reservations," Lee Explains

Amid allegations that actress Lee Siyoung was among those who disturbed other campers by making noise late into the night at a campsite, Lee personally issued an apology, saying, "I am sorry to those who were inconvenienced."

On the 29th, a post originally uploaded by camper A on a camping forum on the 22nd was shared across several online communities. In a post titled "A Workshop Group (Actress Lee Siyoung) Arrived at the Adjacent Site," the author, A, revealed what happened at a campsite near Jungwon Valley in Yangpyeong. A stated, "There were people using four sites in a row," and described the scene: "Very young people were enjoying themselves freely, music was playing through speakers, and one person, shirtless and caught up in the atmosphere, was moving around to the rhythm."

A continued, "We set up at the farthest spot. When it was time to sleep, what I had feared happened. Several cars came and went, and people gathered in one tent to hold an event." A claimed, "The host's voice over the microphone and the loud voices of people were loud enough to be heard inside our tent," and also uploaded a video of the situation.

A added, "The 11 p.m. quiet hours and the no-vehicle movement signs at the campsite were meaningless. Many people from that group were peeking into tents, playing a treasure hunt game," and said, "Our family, including our five-year-old child, was under a lot of stress."

As the post spread, Lee published an apology on her Instagram story on the 29th. She said, "I am sorry to those who were inconvenienced at the campsite," and explained, "We were told that our team was the only one with a reservation that day, so we thought we were alone. After checking, the owner said that one more team arrived in the evening." She further clarified, "Because of my second child, I arrived late in the afternoon and couldn’t stay until late at night, so I went home after a few hours and was unaware of the full situation." She concluded, "I also think quiet hours at campsites are very important. Once again, I apologize."
