CJ: "Long-Term, Systematic Support to Help Athletes Dream Big"
CJ Group has demonstrated the value of its 'Dream Keeper Philosophy' through tangible results.
The golfers sponsored by the company delivered outstanding performances this year on both the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Tour and international junior stages. Bae Yongjoon, born in 2000, claimed his second career victory at the KPGA Classic on the KPGA Tour in May and finished in the top 10 five times, establishing himself as a top-tier player. Choi Seungbin, born in 2001, also clinched his second win in two years and four months by edging out the runner-up group by one stroke at the KPGA Tour The Charity Classic in October.

Chris Kim, a British-Korean born in 2007, made his mark on the global junior stage. Last year, he set the record as the youngest player in history (age 16) to make the cut at the PGA Tour’s The CJ Cup Byron Nelson. This year, he continued to achieve high rankings in major European amateur tournaments, including a tie for fifth place at the Spanish Amateur King’s Cup.
Based on its 'Dream Keeper Philosophy,' CJ supports a diverse group of athletes. On the PGA Tour, world-class players such as Im Sungjae, Kim Siwoo, An Byeonghun, and Lee Kyunghoon are elevating the status of Korean golf. In addition, promising young talents born in the 2000s, including Bae Yongjoon, Choi Seungbin, and Chris Kim, are rapidly rising on both domestic and international stages. CJ plans to continue actively supporting young golfers as they take on the challenge of moving from domestic tours to the global stage.
A CJ representative stated on December 29, "We take great pride in the meaningful achievements that Team CJ athletes have accomplished in their respective arenas this year," adding, "We will continue to provide long-term and systematic support so that our athletes can compete on even bigger stages." In addition to golf, CJ also supports young athletes in various sports, including swimmer Hwang Sunwoo, speed skater Kim Minseon, snowboarder Choi Gaon, sprinter Namadi Joeljin, and tennis player Koo Yeonwoo.
