This donation marks the first joint project to expand the sponsorship partnership, which began this year through a sub-sponsorship contract, into a social contribution initiative. Doosan Construction decided to join the cause, inspired by Shin Jiae's consistent charitable activities. The company matched the amount donated by Shin Jiae (35 million KRW) with an equal sum. Doosan Construction’s portion of the donation was raised through the “change fund,” which collects the small fractions from employees’ salaries.
The donation was delivered to three organizations: the Korea Life Respect Hope Foundation, Our Growth Story, and Yonsei University Medical Center Severance Children's Hospital.
Doosan Construction donated 40 million KRW to the Korea Life Respect Hope Foundation for the “Dream Growth Project,” which supports the healthy development of children and adolescents who have lost family members to suicide. Since her first donation in 2017, Shin Jiae has continued to support children bereaved by suicide for nine consecutive years. Including this donation, her cumulative contribution in this field has reached 105 million KRW. The funds will be used to support treatment expenses, educational costs, and cultural activities.

To support the stable independence of North Korean defector youth, 10 million KRW was donated to Our Growth Story. Since 2017, Shin Jiae has personally visited group homes for North Korean defector youth, offering encouragement and support. The donation will be used to operate programs that help these young people become self-reliant.
Yonsei University Medical Center received 20 million KRW as a development fund for Severance Children's Hospital. The donation will be used to improve the treatment environment and enhance medical services for pediatric patients.
Shin Jiae stated, “I am grateful to be able to continue this long-standing sharing again this year, and thanks to Doosan Construction joining me, we have been able to bring hope to even more places. I sincerely hope that children will feel the warmth of our society, never lose hope, and continue to pursue their dreams.”
A Doosan Construction representative said, “We deeply empathized with Shin Jiae’s positive influence and decided to join her in this sponsorship. Going forward, we will continue to create social value beyond sports sponsorship and engage in various sharing activities.”
