KT Next CEO Candidate Park Yoon-young to Hold Breakfast Meeting with Board Chairman Today

According to industry sources on December 29, Park and Kim are scheduled to have a breakfast meeting in Seoul this morning, which will also serve as an introductory meeting. They are expected to discuss the company's current management status and key issues in depth ahead of the launch of the new executive team.

An industry official stated, "The meeting is intended to support a smooth transition of work for the new CEO, facilitate early management stabilization, and share the board's strong commitment to support."

Park was selected as the final candidate for the next CEO after an interview with the KT CEO Candidate Recommendation Committee on December 16. He will officially take office if he receives approval from more than 60% of voting shares at the regular shareholders' meeting in March next year.

One of the first challenges for the new leader will be to stabilize the organization and restore trust in security following the recent hacking incident. It is expected that this issue, along with other management topics, will be discussed during the meeting.
