New Medical Staff to Join from January Next Year
Enhanced Expertise in Pulmonology and Joint Center
In an era marked by fine dust and an aging population, the lungs and joints are the first to be affected.
Haeundae Bumin Hospital (Director Kang Daehwan) will strengthen its expertise in each medical field by recruiting new medical staff for the Department of Pulmonology and the Joint Center starting January 2026.
Manager Seo Minkyo, who has newly joined the team, completed his internship and internal medicine residency at Inje University Haeundae Paik Hospital, then gained extensive experience treating various respiratory diseases as a pulmonology fellow. As a full member of the Korean Society of Internal Medicine and the Korean Academy of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases, Manager Seo will be responsible for the accurate diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of respiratory diseases, including chronic cough, pneumonia, tuberculosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and asthma.
At the Joint Center, Manager Lee Gyumin will begin providing care. Manager Lee graduated from the School of Medicine at Gyeongsang National University and completed his internship and residency at Gyeongsang National University Hospital. He has extensive clinical experience focusing on the treatment of lower limb joint conditions such as knee, hip, and foot disorders, and is a specialist with broad expertise that includes robotic joint replacement surgery. He plans to enhance patient satisfaction through personalized treatments tailored to each patient's condition.
With the addition of these new medical professionals, Haeundae Bumin Hospital aims to further strengthen its treatment systems for respiratory and joint diseases, provide more specialized and systematic medical services, and contribute to the improvement of regional healthcare standards.
A hospital representative stated, "We will continue to expand our team of specialists in each field to create a medical environment that patients can trust," adding, "We will do our best to become a hospital that grows together with the local community."
