Free "Cancellation Show" Held at the Same Venue After Ticket Refunds

Singer Yoon Jongshin, who canceled his year-end concert due to health reasons, organized a free listening session for his fans.

On December 26, Yoon Jongshin posted on his social network service (SNS), "The world's first concert cancellation show. See you soon."

This show was a listening session held in response to the cancellation of his year-end concert "What Happened to Me This Year." Previously, Yoon Jongshin had announced on SNS, "I regret to deliver unfortunate news to those who planned to spend an enjoyable year-end with my concert," and explained, "Six days ago, I suddenly developed a cold accompanied by bronchitis symptoms and have been undergoing intensive treatment for five days."

After the first concert on December 24, he ultimately canceled all remaining concert dates due to vocal cord issues and held the cancellation show instead.

Yoon Jongshin stated, "I apologize for causing confusion in the precious year-end plans of those who were looking forward to my concert. Including yesterday's performance, the organizers will naturally proceed with the refund process as scheduled. I am already searching for a venue with the goal of rescheduling within February. Please give me a chance to make it up to you."

He added, "For those who had no other plans besides this concert, although the concert is canceled, the stories you shared with me this year were so interesting, and I want to share my thoughts about 2025 and my life ahead in the format of a radio public broadcast and listening session, even without a live performance." He continued, "Those who purchased tickets for my concert will receive a refund, and if you bring your ticket to the original concert time, you can still join me."

Fans who attended the cancellation show said they were disappointed not to hear him sing, but praised the engaging talk session instead. Some commented that he showed a strong sense of responsibility.

Meanwhile, actress Ko Hyunjung, who is known to be close with Yoon Jongshin, visited the "cancellation show" to support him. Yoon Jongshin will hold one more "cancellation show" on December 28. He will resume his concerts in February next year.
