The cold wave is expected to continue nationwide on Saturday, the 27th. Snow or rain is forecast, mainly in the central region.
The morning low temperatures are expected to range from -15 to -3 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs from -1 to 7 degrees Celsius.

Morning temperatures will be about 2 to 5 degrees lower than average for this time of year. From the afternoon, temperatures will gradually rise to near-normal or slightly below average. However, with slightly strong winds, the perceived temperature will feel even lower.
As cold air flows in from the northwest, morning temperatures will drop below -10 degrees Celsius, especially in the inland areas of the central region, eastern North Jeolla, and inland North Gyeongsang. Severe cold of around -15 degrees Celsius is expected in northern inland Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous Gangwon, and northern North Chungcheong.
A cold wave advisory has been issued for most of the central region and parts of inland North Gyeongsang, except for the Chungnam region and the east coast of Gangwon.
By region, the morning lows will be: Seoul -11 degrees, Incheon -8 degrees, Chuncheon -13 degrees, Gangneung -4 degrees, Daejeon -8 degrees, Jeonju -5 degrees, Gwangju -4 degrees, Daegu -6 degrees, Busan -3 degrees, and Jeju 3 degrees Celsius.
The daytime highs will be: Seoul 3 degrees, Incheon 4 degrees, Chuncheon 0 degrees, Gangneung 6 degrees, Daejeon 5 degrees, Jeonju 6 degrees, Gwangju 6 degrees, Daegu 5 degrees, Busan 7 degrees, and Jeju 9 degrees Celsius.
The central region will be mostly cloudy, while the southern region and Jeju Island will have partly cloudy skies at times.
Between morning and afternoon, light snow is expected in some areas of Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, parts of northern Gyeonggi, southern inland Gangwon, and the Chungcheong region. In southern inland Gangwon and the Chungcheong region, snow may continue until nighttime. Some areas in the Chungcheong region may see rain instead of snow.
In northern Gyeonggi, light snow of less than 0.1 cm may fall between morning and afternoon. In other inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, snow may fall from morning until night. In northern North Jeolla and western inland North Gyeongsang, there may be light snow of less than 0.1 cm from late afternoon into the night.
Expected snowfall is around 1 cm in southern Incheon and Gyeonggi, southern inland Gangwon, and the Chungcheong region, and less than 1 cm in Seoul and northern Gyeonggi.
Expected precipitation is around 1 mm in southern Incheon and Gyeonggi, southern inland Gangwon, and the Chungcheong region, less than 1 mm in Seoul and northern Gyeonggi, and less than 5 mm on the west coast of Chungnam.
A dry weather advisory has been issued for the east coast and southern mountainous areas of Gangwon, the east coast and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang, as well as Busan and Ulsan. Some areas in the capital region and other parts of Gyeongsang are also experiencing dry conditions, so caution is advised to prevent fires.
Fine dust concentrations will remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels nationwide.
Wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea. In the offshore areas (about 200 km from the coastline), waves will reach 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
