Four Program Areas Including Language Training... Runs Through February Next Year
Mokpo National University announced on the 26th that it recently held the "2025 Winter Overseas Scholarship Training Award Ceremony and Orientation" at Jeongsangmuk Hall in the university's 70th Anniversary Memorial Hall, where it selected 198 students for the overseas scholarship training program.
This event was organized to award scholarship certificates to students selected for the winter overseas scholarship training and to provide guidance on the program's direction and safety regulations.

This year's winter overseas scholarship training program will be conducted in four areas: faculty-led major exploration, independent overseas cultural studies, overseas language training, and the training group at Kochi Prefectural University in Japan. For the faculty-led major exploration, 97 students from 10 teams across 12 departments will participate in overseas institution visits and case studies related to their majors.
For the independent overseas cultural studies, 65 students from 18 teams across 16 departments will engage in global cultural exploration and theme-based activities. In the overseas language training program, 21 students will receive intensive language and cultural training in countries such as Australia, Japan, and Canada.
Fifteen students have been selected for the Kochi Prefectural University training group in Japan, where they will participate in academic and cultural exchange activities.
President Song Hacheol stated, "I hope students will broaden their horizons and enhance their future competitiveness through overseas training," adding, "We will actively support them so they can grow on the global stage."
