Deo Sisa Law Donates 10 Million Won to Korea Rehabilitation Agency
Supporting Individuals Under Legal Protection
The Sisa Law delivered 10 million won in cash to the Korea Rehabilitation Agency for the benefit of protected individuals.
The donation ceremony, held at the Korea Rehabilitation Agency on the 26th, was attended by Yoon Subok, CEO of The Sisa Law, Lee Hyunmi, Acting Chairperson of the agency, and other representatives from both organizations.
This donation was made to help individuals under legal protection who have returned to society after release to settle stably in their communities. The donated funds will be allocated to next year’s legal protection and welfare programs through the agency, and will be used to support protected individuals and their families.
Secretary-General Lee Hyunmi stated, “This donation will provide practical assistance for protected individuals to establish themselves stably in society,” and added, “The donated funds will be used meaningfully for welfare programs supporting protected individuals and their families.”
She continued, “Going forward, we plan to go beyond support-centered roles to broadly analyze not only successful cases but also those that reveal trial and error and limitations, and share these with the public. As the role of the media is crucial in expanding public understanding of legal protection programs, we look forward to ongoing cooperation.”
CEO Yoon Subok said, “I am grateful for the role of the Korea Rehabilitation Agency in helping protected individuals make a new start,” and added, “Although it is a small gesture, I hope it contributes to strengthening the social safety net.”
Meanwhile, since its launch in September 2024, The Sisa Law has been a media outlet specializing in legal cases, correctional affairs, and social issues. It has expanded its readership, particularly within the legal and correctional sectors, and currently ranks first in paid subscriptions within correctional facilities nationwide.
