The civic group Citizens' Action for Judicial Justice (Sasehaeng) submitted a complaint to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on the morning of December 26, accusing Floor Leader Kim of bribery and violating the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act.
Recently, the media has reported a series of allegations that Floor Leader Kim used hotel accommodation vouchers received from Korean Air and discussed receiving special airport services.
On his social media account, Floor Leader Kim stated, "It is unfortunate that the controversy over the facts continues, but I will clarify nonetheless," adding, "When my daughter-in-law and grandson entered Hanoi in 2023, we did not receive any special assistance from the head of the Hanoi branch." He continued, "The informant is presumed to be a former aide with whom I previously worked, and is pretending to be a whistleblower."
