Nine Local Businesses and Organizations Donate to the Love Fund
Spreading Year-End Warmth and Neighborly Care
On December 24, the day before Christmas, warm acts of sharing continued at the Goryeong County Office, brightening the local community.
On December 26, Goryeong County reported that a total of nine local businesses and organizations participated by donating to the Love Fund, joining in the year-end spirit of caring for neighbors.
At the donation ceremony that day, the participation of local businesses and organizations stood out. Goryeong BS Co., Ltd. (represented by Noh Haecheol and Yoon Hyeongcheol) initiated the giving by donating 5 million won to the Hamkke Moa Happiness Credit Union, and the Carpos Goryeong Branch (led by Chairman Jeon Youngjong) contributed 1 million won.
Additionally, the Goryeong Branch of the Korea Beekeeping Association (1 million won), Maeil Farming Cooperative Corporation (represented by Seo Taesu, 5 million won), Ssangnim-myeon Development Council (led by Chairman Jeon Sangdan, 1 million won), Daekyung ESC Co., Ltd. (headed by Kim Jongcheon, 500,000 won), Ssangnim-myeon Youth Association (led by Chairman Song Younggyeon, 2 million won), Goryeong County Volunteer Disaster Prevention Team (led by Kang Moonhee, 1 million won), and Saecheonyeon Tourism (represented by Park Mugeon, 1 million won) all participated, bringing the total number of donors to nine.
The donors shared, "With Christmas approaching, we have come together with the hope that our neighbors in our hometown of Goryeong will have a warmer and happier year-end."
Lee Namcheol, Mayor of Goryeong County, said, "I deeply thank all nine donors for their unwavering love for our neighbors. The precious donations you have given will be delivered warmly to those in need."
