Chinese Art IP Business Agency XENZIAO Expands Collaboration with Korean Market

Opening Pathways for Korean Original IP Operations in the Chinese Market

Chinese Art IP Business Agency XENZIAO Expands Collaboration with Korean Market

As demand for cultural consumption and brand collaborations continues to rise in China, commercial opportunities for international original art IP in the Chinese market are also expanding. XENZIAO, a Chinese art IP business operation agency, recently announced the official expansion of its partnership with the Korean market, opening up new avenues for collaboration and operations in China for Korean artists, illustrators, and original IP holders.

According to the announcement, XENZIAO plans to introduce original Korean illustrations, visual art, and character IP, supporting their entry and expansion in the Chinese market through exhibition projects, brand collaborations, commercial licensing, and long-term content operations. The company aims to implement a systematic approach to ensure sustainable growth of these IPs in China.

XENZIAO explained that, unlike traditional simple licensing transactions, it focuses on the long-term development and structured operation of IPs within the Chinese market. Leveraging years of experience in China, XENZIAO has established an operational system that covers the entire lifecycle of IPs. This includes exhibition and space projects, brand collaborations, new media content operations, cultural creation and retail development, and the design of commercial licensing systems, all to support the sustainable development of art content in China.

During 2024 and 2025, XENZIAO has already facilitated the entry of several international IPs into the Chinese market. Among them, the original Korean illustration IP 'eteecy' has been managed by XENZIAO in the Chinese market since July 2025.

During the operation period, eteecy successfully completed various market validations, including distribution through Chinese social media, execution of offline exhibition projects, and promotion of commercial collaborations with Chinese brands. It has established itself as a representative example of a Korean original IP undergoing systematic operations in China.

As a key benchmark case, eteecy demonstrated strong market influence and commercial conversion capabilities under XENZIAO's management. According to data, during the four-month operation period, eteecy achieved over 30 million exposures across all networks, and its Chinese social media followers quickly surpassed 10,000.

On the offline business side, the first exhibition held in Changsha, Hunan Province, attracted more than 60,000 visitors over three months and was covered by over 20 authoritative Chinese national media outlets, including News Yearbook and Xinhua News Agency. In terms of commercial collaborations, XENZIAO successfully facilitated partnerships between eteecy and well-known brands such as Subway, DearIrean, and HUNJUICE, and more than 10 commercial projects are currently underway.

Looking ahead, XENZIAO plans to focus on facilitating Korean original IP collaborations and agency services in the Chinese market, joint projects between Korean and Chinese brands, commercial licensing, execution of exhibitions and space projects for Korean IPs in China, as well as content localization and long-term operations tailored for the Chinese market.

Currently, XENZIAO has officially opened cooperation consultations for Korean artists, illustrators, IP holders, and art institutions, and has welcomed deeper discussions regarding models for collaboration in the Chinese market.
