This academy offers a variety of programs for youth. In addition to essential subjects such as English and mathematics, students can participate in career exploration activities that allow them to experience specific professions, including barista, announcer, and landscape architect.

Furthermore, students' potential will be enhanced through hands-on activities that reflect the latest trends, such as multisport programs and webtoon production incorporating AI (artificial intelligence) technology.

In particular, the Jeongeup City Youth After-School Academy demonstrated its excellence by achieving remarkable results this year. In 2025, a short film production program operated in cooperation with Jeonbuk Science College received the Encouragement Award at the Wanju Children's Rights Film Festival.

This case was also selected as the grand prize winner in the middle school category at the "2025 Youth After-School Academy Best Practices Contest," earning the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Award. Currently, three professional instructors are helping more than 40 youths build positive self-identities.

Participating students are also provided with various welfare benefits. They can join customized programs with peers, tailored to their grade and characteristics, and receive safe transportation to and from the academy as well as nutritious free meals. The academy operates on weekdays from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Youth and parents who wish to apply can inquire by phone and then visit the After-School Academy, located on the second floor of the Jeongeup Youth Training Center, to fill out an application form in person.
