In November, the city added 60 more parking spaces to Temporary Parking Lot 1 to alleviate parking difficulties. However, as the usage rate of GTX-A Unjeongjungang Station continued to rise, the need for further expansion of parking spaces was raised again.
Accordingly, Paju City secured additional land and created 252 more spaces at Temporary Parking Lot 2. With this expansion, the total capacity of temporary parking lots at Unjeongjungang Station now stands at 1,321 spaces.
A Paju City official stated, "Since GTX-A Unjeongjungang Station is expected to become a key hub for metropolitan transportation in the Seoul Capital Area, we will continue to work on improving the parking environment so that citizens can use the station more conveniently."
