According to Inje County on December 25, this success is attributed to administrative support through the home shopping support program, price adjustments made in consultation with local producers, and the outstanding quality competitiveness of Inje Apples.

In particular, during the third broadcast, all 2,565 prepared sets were sold out in about 35 minutes after the broadcast began. This broadcast, which aired on December 22, featured premium-grade Inje Apples in 5 kg sets (18 to 20 apples per set), with each apple weighing approximately 250 to 277 grams. The quantity was arranged to meet both household consumption and gift-giving demand.

The selling price was set at 39,900 won, a reduction of 6,000 won from the previous price of 45,900 won. To ease the burden on consumers, the county subsidized 70% of the delivery fee, while the producers adjusted their supply price. The distribution company, Inje Agricultural Specialty Products Distribution Corporation, participated with minimal margins to establish a reasonable pricing structure.

Inje Apples also achieved stable sales in the previous two home shopping broadcasts. In the first broadcast on November 25, 1,387 sets were sold, and in the second broadcast on December 8, 1,551 sets were sold. Including the third broadcast, the cumulative home shopping sales for this year reached a total of 5,499 sets (about 27.5 tons), with sales amounting to approximately 230 million won.

The county explained that Inje Apples are cultivated in a pristine highland climate with significant temperature differences between day and night, resulting in firm flesh and excellent storability. The apples are also highly praised by consumers for their well-balanced sweetness and acidity. Repeat purchases and additional inquiries have continued, indicating growing trust in the product’s quality.

Inje County is working to reduce the distribution burden for local agricultural specialty products and to help farmers establish a stable income base by supporting home shopping sales and subsidizing part of the logistics costs. Going forward, the county plans to continue supporting sales channels by systematically managing the entire distribution process-from broadcast planning and quantity arrangement to quality control and post-sales customer response-after comprehensively reviewing the characteristics and supply conditions of each product.

Kim Sunik, Head of the Distribution and Livestock Division of Inje County, stated, "The combination of administrative support and cooperation among producers and the distribution corporation has led to a stable pricing structure and strong sales performance. We will continue to support local agricultural products so they can secure competitive sales channels."
