Gwangju City Council Member Hwang Soje Receives Excellent Legislative Activity Award from Gyeonggi Province City and County Councils

Hwang Soje, a member of the Gwangju City Council in Gyeonggi Province, received the Excellent Legislative Activity Award at the '2025 Gyeonggi Province City and County Council Legislative Activity Excellence Awards Ceremony' held at Dongducheon City Council on the 24th. The Excellent Legislative Activity Award is organized by the Council of Chairs of Gyeonggi Province City and County Councils and is presented by the Chair of the Council.

As a member of the 9th Gwangju City Council, Hwang Soje proposed an ordinance for the installation and maintenance of tactile paving blocks for the visually impaired and led research and educational efforts for legislative service, including promoting roundtable discussions for slow learners (those with borderline intellectual functioning). Based on her active legislative work and communication with citizens from all walks of life, she was recognized for her contributions in the field of legislative service.
