JoongAng Group announced on the 24th that Jin Jinbae, President of JTBC, has been appointed as CEO of the JTBC Broadcasting Business Group.
CEO Jin will oversee JTBC's key businesses, including news, content, and digital operations. JoongAng Group stated, "We expect synergy from his extensive reporting experience and external strategic capabilities."
CEO Jin is a veteran journalist who joined JoongAng Ilbo in 1996. He played a pivotal role in the early days of JTBC's launch. In particular, while serving as head of the social affairs desk, he led the coverage of the 'state affairs manipulation scandal.'
