The police reportedly attempted to obtain records of product purchases made by specific Unification Church figures around 2018, a period during which money and valuables are suspected to have been delivered from Bulgari Korea.
Former Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Jeon Jae-su has completely denied the allegations, stating that he has never received any illegal money or valuables from the Unification Church.
