According to the county, this evaluation, organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, comprehensively assessed 243 local governments nationwide based on their performance in distributing livelihood recovery consumption coupons, usage rates, expansion of available merchants, improvements in application and distribution convenience, and promotional achievements.
As a result of distributing the livelihood recovery consumption coupons, the county achieved a high distribution rate, with 59,707 people (99.4%) receiving the coupons in the first round and 56,812 people (98.3%) in the second round.
Additionally, the county received the highest evaluation grade, 'Grade A,' in recognition of its efforts to provide resident convenience, including establishing a prompt distribution system, identifying and assisting those with mobility difficulties through outreach applications, expanding the number of eligible merchants, and promoting local consumption through various events and both online and offline campaigns.
Park Yonghee, Head of the Local Economy Division, stated, "By swiftly distributing the livelihood recovery consumption coupons in consideration of residents' convenience, in line with the government's guidelines for economic recovery, we were able to receive such a positive evaluation. We will continue to strengthen people-centered administration and do our utmost to revitalize the local economy."
