Mayor Lee stated, "We are currently promoting projects such as the creation of a hub-type smart city, 'Smart Family Safe Way Home,' and 'Autonomous Buses' by integrating innovative technologies, including AI, across all aspects of city operations." He added, "These achievements are the result of the dedication and efforts of each department, and I urge public officials, who are at the starting point of change, to respond more sensitively to technological trends and continue striving to incorporate them into administration."

After reviewing the major event plans for 2026, Mayor Lee said, "The events held this year were successfully carried out, and many citizens were satisfied." He emphasized, "Next year, please carefully address areas that needed improvement this year and consider the overall content and operation methods so that the events can be unique and distinctive, rather than simply repetitive."

He also commended the efforts that led Goyang City to be selected as the top city in the 2025 Gyeonggi-do Provincial Tax Special Collection Measures Evaluation, saying, "This evaluation is a meaningful achievement that recognizes our excellent performance in overall provincial tax collection." He continued, "Please continue to work hard to secure stable financial resources by expanding revenue and ensuring fair tax administration."

Meanwhile, at the executive meeting, major festivals and event plans were reviewed, including the Hangju Fortress Sunrise Event, Goyang International Flower Expo, Goyang Hangju Cultural Festival, Goyang Lake Arts Festival, Hangju Is Art, and the National Makgeolli Festival.
