Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service Delivers 1,276 Winter Coats
1,014 Executives and Employees Participate, Sharing Warmth at Year-End
The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service has launched a campaign to share winter coats with foreign neighbors experiencing their first winter in Korea.
The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service (Chairman Park Jonggil) announced on the 24th that, through the voluntary participation of its executives and employees, it donated 1,276 winter coats to foreign neighbors and received a plaque of appreciation at the "First Winter Sharing Clothes Performance Report Meeting."
"First Winter Sharing Clothes" is a sharing campaign, now in its eighth year, aimed at helping foreign neighbors who have moved to Korea from countries without winter settle in as they experience their first winter.

Since September, the organization has conducted a winter coat donation campaign among its executives and employees. During this period, 1,014 staff members participated and collected 1,276 coats. The donated items were delivered to Bapilkkum, the nonprofit organization hosting the event.
The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service first participated in the sixth event in 2023, donating 1,287 winter coats. As of this year, the organization has delivered a cumulative total of 2,563 coats to foreign neighbors.
Chairman Park Jonggil stated, "I hope the sincerity of our executives and employees will provide some support to foreign neighbors spending their first winter in Korea," adding, "As a public institution working together with the community, we will continue to support vulnerable groups and promote a culture of sharing."
