Plan International Korea and Il Sung Construction Provide School Supplies to Community Child Center Children

International relief and development NGO Plan International Korea (hereafter referred to as Plan) and Il Sung Construction Co., Ltd. delivered school supply support kits to approximately 80 children at two community child centers that benefited from this year's environmental improvement project, as part of the "Blue Dream Growth Center" educational support initiative.

This support was arranged to mark the end of the year, with the aim of encouraging children's learning and daily lives, and to share ongoing interest in their educational environment. The delivery ceremony was attended by Paek Jongtak, CEO of Il Sung Construction, and Lee Jaemyung, Director at Plan, who shared the purpose of the project and their commitment to future cooperation.

The school supply support kits were composed of items such as pencils, colored pencils, notebooks, and planners, all essential for learning and daily activities. They were prepared with the hope that the children will embark on new challenges and enjoy learning.

This year, Il Sung Construction not only supported environmental improvements at community child centers to help children live in safer and more comfortable spaces, but also continued to sponsor school supplies needed for the new semester, carefully considering both the daily lives and learning of the children. Through these efforts, the company has helped children build confidence and expectations for their studies in a stable environment.

Paek Jongtak, CEO of Il Sung Construction, stated, "I believe that helping children learn freely and nurture their dreams in a better environment is an important role for a company," adding, "We will continue to support children's growth through social contribution activities that encompass both educational and living environments."

A representative from Plan commented, "For children at community child centers, not only the learning environment but also the interest and support from adults who cheer them on is a great source of strength. The eight-year partnership with Il Sung Construction is a good example of child-centered social contribution, and we will continue to work together on various activities to protect children's rights and support their growth."

Plan and Il Sung Construction have continued environmental improvement activities at community child centers for eight years through the "Blue Dream Growth Center Support Project," and plan to further expand their social contribution activities encompassing both education and environment, so that children can grow up healthy and pursue their dreams.
