Lee Sangin, Senior Research Fellow at Daegu Policy Institute, Receives Presidential Citation for Contributions to Population Decline Crisis Response

Daegu Policy Institute (President Park Yangho) announced on the 24th that Lee Sangin, Senior Research Fellow and Director of the Daegu Population Decline Crisis Response Center, received the Presidential Citation at the "2025 Population Decline Crisis Response Merit Awards Ceremony" hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

This award, hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, is presented to individuals who have contributed to national and social development by responding to the population decline crisis.

Director Lee Sangin has strengthened the response capabilities of regions experiencing population decline through research on urban industrial development and public transportation systems. In particular, he has played a leading role in solidifying the function of the "Daegu Metropolitan City Population Decline Crisis Response Center" by facilitating collaboration between metropolitan and basic local governments.
