KSD Nanum Foundation Awards 270 Million Won in Scholarships to 55 Specialized High Schools Nationwide

KSD Nanum Foundation of Korea Securities Depository (Chairman: Lee Soonho) held the '2025 Dream Growth Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony' at the Korea Securities Depository Seoul Headquarters on the 23rd.


This year, a total of 565 students from 64 specialized high schools nationwide participated in the 'Dream Growth Scholarship Program.' Among them, 401 students were selected as scholarship recipients, and 55 specialized high schools were chosen as outstanding schools. A total of 270 million won in scholarships and school development funds was awarded.

The Dream Growth Scholarship Program is a performance-based scholarship initiative that provides scholarships and school development funds to specialized high school students across the country, based on their results in the Teen MaeKyung Test, a financial and economic literacy assessment.


The top student, Sim Subin from Wonju Financial Accounting High School, received a scholarship of 2 million won. Two students with outstanding individual scores and 52 students recognized as top performers in their respective schools each received a scholarship of 1 million won. Other participating students were awarded scholarships ranging from 150,000 to 800,000 won, depending on their scores.


The top school, Wonju Financial Accounting High School, received a school development fund of 5 million won. Four outstanding schools (Daedong Taxation High School, Seoul Girls' Commercial High School, Gwangju Girls' Commercial High School, Jeonnam Girls' Commercial High School) and six schools recognized for performance improvement (Gyeonggi Logistics High School, Sejeong High School, Gimhae Hanil Girls' High School, Sinban Information High School, Daejeon Sinil Girls' High School, Ganggyeong Commercial High School) each received 3 million won in school development funds. The remaining participating schools each received 2 million won in development funds.


Lee Soonho, Chairman of the KSD Nanum Foundation at Korea Securities Depository, stated, "Through the Dream Growth Scholarship Program, we will continue to support students by enhancing their understanding of finance and economics, discovering hidden talents, and helping them grow into future leaders."


Since 2014, KSD Nanum Foundation has provided approximately 2.83 billion won in scholarships and school development funds to specialized high school students and schools nationwide through the Dream Growth Scholarship Program.
