Support for Patients with Rare Diseases and Vulnerable Groups

GC Green Cross announced on December 24 that it has donated 200 million won in year-end charity funds to support neighbors in need.

Of this donation, 100 million won will be used as funds for underprivileged neighbors and patients with rare diseases through relevant organizations within its business sites, while the remaining 100 million won will be contributed to the Korean Red Cross to support disaster relief operations and various welfare projects for the elderly, people with disabilities, and children and adolescents.

In addition to year-end donations, all employees of GC and its affiliates have actively participated in various social contribution activities to support their local communities. Through participation in campaigns such as the Reaction Campaign, plogging activities, and Beautiful Companion, they have made donations to the community. The company has also operated employee donation programs such as matching grants, the year-end 1% salary sharing program, and the 'last digit' salary donation, enabling valuable contributions to the local community.

A GC Green Cross representative stated, "We hope this donation will provide some help to our neighbors in need," adding, "We will continue to engage in a variety of social contribution activities that involve all employees, so we can better support those in welfare blind spots who need assistance."

Meanwhile, prior to this donation, GC Green Cross held a "Love Blood Donation" event for all employees from November 14 to 17. This was the third such event following one in March, and since the company first launched blood donation drives in 1992, more than 15,000 people have participated over the past 30 years.
