'2025 Public Technology-Linked Technology Advancement Performance Exchange Meeting' Held
Seeking to Expand Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration
In order to advance and accelerate the commercialization of public technologies, representatives from universities, government-funded research institutes, technology commercialization companies, and related organizations gathered to collaborate.
Daejeon Technopark held the '2025 Public Technology-Linked Technology Advancement Performance Exchange Meeting' at the D-Unicorn Lounge in Daejeon on the afternoon of the 23rd, sharing achievements in public technology-based commercialization and cases of industry-academia-research collaboration.
On this day, Choi Bongrim, Senior Manager at Daejeon Technopark, presented the progress and key achievements of the '2025 Public Technology-Linked Technology Advancement Project,' highlighting the potential for industrial application of public technologies and introducing outstanding cases of successful commercialization.
This was followed by presentations on the outcomes of public technology-based commercialization. Four companies participated and shared their processes and results in technology transfer, prototype production, and product advancement: ▲ Pireta Co., Ltd. (Senior Researcher Seo Mookyung, "Development of a Smart Port Wire Rope Real-Time Diagnosis System for Zero Major Accidents"), ▲ TDS Innovation Co., Ltd. (Senior Researcher Song Bangju, "Technology Transfer of Two-Dimensional Semiconductor Processing and Prototype Fabrication of Deposition Equipment"), ▲ Adwave Co., Ltd. (CEO Na Junhee, "Advancing Technology for the Development of Satellite Communication Antenna Modules"), and ▲ Watertree Nez Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Incheol, "Development of a New Material-Based Membrane Module for Vitamin B2 Concentration").
In addition, there were exchanges among industry, academia, and research, as well as private sector networking. Participants discussed potential areas for collaboration and explored practical ways to expand the commercialization of public technology.
Kim Wooyeon, President of Daejeon Technopark, stated, "Transforming public technology into real market competitiveness is the core of the Public Technology-Linked Technology Advancement Project," adding, "I hope this exchange meeting will further promote connections among companies, research institutes, and investment organizations."
