Dongmoon Construction Completes 'Yeomchang Station Dongmoon The East' Street Housing Maintenance Project for Deoksu Yeonlip The Deoksu Yeonlip Street Housing Maintenance Project, constructed by Dongmoon Construction, has been transformed into "Yeomchang Station Dongmoon The East" and has begun occupancy. This complex is the first completed case of an LH-participated street housing maintenance project in Seoul. Provided by Dongmoon Construction

This project is significant as it is the first case in central Seoul where the public and private sectors cooperated to rapidly improve residential environments through an LH-participated street housing maintenance initiative.

At Yeomchang Station Dongmoon The East, LH participated to ensure transparency and stability in areas such as financing, appraisal, and construction management, dramatically shortening the project period. Unlike traditional redevelopment or reconstruction projects, which typically take more than 15 years, this project was completed in just five years from the establishment of the association to completion.

Dongmoon Construction also won the contract for "Cheonggiwa Family" in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, another LH-participated street housing maintenance project. After the maintenance project, Cheonggiwa Family Mansion will be transformed from the current 131 households into an apartment complex with a total of 283 units, four basement floors, and up to 20 above-ground floors. This site will apply Seoul City's "Moahousing Design Innovation Guidelines," featuring creative and distinctive exteriors such as open low-rise spaces and specialized facades. Construction is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026.

Dongmoon Construction has also secured the contract for the Ansan Singil 2 A-6 Block public housing construction project. In the public tender organized by Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), the company was awarded the facility construction contract for the Ansan Singil 2 A-6 Block public housing project. The project will consist of 378 units in a building with two basement floors and 20 above-ground floors, with a total project cost of 85 billion won. Construction is set to begin in May 2026 and be completed by October 2028.

In August, Dongmoon Construction also won the contract for the Namyangju Jinju Apartment housing reconstruction and maintenance project. After reconstruction, the site will consist of a total of 1,843 units in a building with three basement floors and 29 above-ground floors. Following procedures such as approval for project implementation changes and the establishment of a revised management and disposal plan, the company is aiming to begin construction in 2026.

Dongmoon Construction stated, "We plan to strengthen communication with residents and introduce future-oriented residential complexes by integrating eco-friendly designs and the latest construction technologies. Having led the domestic residential culture for 41 years, we will continue to prioritize stability and quality as we steadily supply new residential complexes."
