Yeoju City Council in Gyeonggi Province (Chairman Park Doohyeong) achieved a Grade 2 rating in the 2025 Comprehensive Integrity Assessment of Public Institutions conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, marking the accomplishment of maintaining Grade 2 for three consecutive years.
The Comprehensive Integrity Assessment by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission is a system that comprehensively measures both the perceived integrity and integrity efforts of public institutions. Yeoju City Council received stable scores across all major evaluation categories, once again proving its outstanding level of integrity.
Yeoju City Council has maintained a Grade 2 rating in the comprehensive integrity assessment for three consecutive years from 2023 to 2025, and is recognized for its ongoing efforts to operate the council with integrity. In particular, the council has strengthened integrity education for council members and staff, made anti-corruption pledges, and promoted transparent legislative activities, thereby fostering a voluntary culture of integrity.
Chairman Park Doohyeong stated, "Achieving a Grade 2 rating in the comprehensive integrity assessment for three consecutive years is the result of Yeoju City Council's continuous efforts to meet the expectations of our citizens for integrity in legislative activities," adding, "We will continue to make integrity a core value in our work and do our utmost to become a council trusted by citizens."
Based on the results of this assessment, Yeoju City Council plans to further strengthen its anti-corruption and integrity policies with the goal of achieving a Grade 1 rating, and will continue to operate the council in a fair and transparent manner.
