ST Unitas announced that it held the civil service exam briefing session, 'THE START,' in Noryangjin on December 20 and in Daegu on December 21.

With the number of civil servant recruitment positions in 2026 expected to increase compared to this year, interest in the civil service exam is shifting offline, driven by a rise in applicants for the national level Grade 9 exam and a rebound in competition rates. Over the past year, more than 15,000 people have participated in ST Unitas’s offline briefing sessions. For this 'THE START' session, a total of 5,141 people registered, and despite the cold weather, many examinees attended in person to receive counseling.

This briefing session was designed to provide examinees preparing for the 2026 and 2027 civil service exams with a one-stop opportunity to check subject-specific trends and short-term study strategies by job category. Leading instructors from Gongdangi, including Lee Sunjae for Korean, Shim Woochul for English, and Moon Donggyun for Korean History, participated directly to highlight changes in key subjects and present study roadmaps for achieving results in a short period of time.

In particular, the event drew significant attention as 100 successful Gongdangi candidates, wearing fluorescent scarves, greeted attendees and offered encouragement and one-on-one counseling programs. Many examinees gathered to hear about specific experiences, such as the trial and error encountered during the actual preparation process, job category-specific strategies, and routine setting. Positive feedback from those who received counseling continued to pour in. To further support examinees living outside metropolitan areas, round-trip shuttle buses were operated from six locations nationwide (Gangneung, Chuncheon, Sejong, Daejeon, Jeonju, and Gwangju), receiving an enthusiastic response from non-metropolitan participants.

An ST Unitas representative stated, "We were able to confirm the high level of interest from both prospective and current examinees at the briefing session," adding, "We plan to continue providing essential information and study strategies for civil service exam preparation, building on the momentum from this event."

The 'THE START' briefing session is scheduled to conclude with the Busan event on January 10, and further details can be found on the official website.
