K-Fish cake brand Samjin Fish Cake has been officially recognized by the government as an outstanding brand.


Samjin Fish Cake (CEO Park Yongjun) received the Excellence Award (Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award) at the Korea Brand Awards, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Industrial Policy Studies (IPS), among others.

The Korea Brand Awards is a government honor presented to companies and brands that have contributed to strengthening industrial competitiveness and advancing the national economy through creative and advanced brand management. Winners are selected through a systematic brand value analysis, consumer perception surveys, and expert evaluations to ensure fairness.


Samjin Fish Cake was highly praised for its quality competitiveness rooted in a long tradition and its consumer-focused brand management, earning the honor of the Excellence Award this year.


Industry insiders have noted that this award is an official recognition that Samjin Fish Cake has become an icon representing 'K-Fish Cake,' going beyond being a simple food brand.


Samjin Fish Cake is a traditional company that has maintained quality-oriented management for over 70 years, based on the principles of using high-quality ingredients and a high fish meat content. Starting in Busan, it has grown into a nationwide brand, diversifying its product lineup beyond side dish ingredients to include snacks, gift sets, and HMR (home meal replacement) products. Recently, the company has steadily built consumer trust, ranking first in the processed seafood category in the Brand Power Survey for five consecutive years.
