On December 23, the association announced that, together with the Korea Children's Publishing Association, it carried out the book donation project titled "Sharing Books, Nurturing Dreams." Launched in 2021, this project marks its fifth year and targets local children's centers, care centers, group homes, orphanages, and special daycare centers for children with disabilities in areas where purchasing books is difficult.
This year, the Korea Publishing Culture Association and the Korea Children's Publishing Association selected and delivered about 1,000 books for infants, children, and teenagers to dozens of locations nationwide in need of books, creating an environment where children can access a wide variety of reading materials.
Lee Changseop, Executive Director in charge of reading promotion at the Korea Publishing Culture Association, said, "I hope children will nurture their imagination and dreams through books," and added, "We will continue our efforts to promote a culture of reading in the future."
