Healing Book Concert by First Keepers, a Subsidiary of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power
With Actress and Author Moon Junghee and Her Book 'Manu Story'
First Keepers, a subsidiary of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (CEO Lee Sangmin), successfully held the healing book concert 'Geumbitdonghaeng' for employees and local residents at the Wolseong Sports Center on December 20, marking the end of the year.
At the book concert, Moon Junghee, an actress and author, attended and shared sincere stories about the dignity of life, wounds, and healing, centering on her book 'Manu Story.' Attendees deeply empathized as they listened to vivid accounts filled with Moon Junghee's experiences and emotions.
'Manu Story' is a photo essay in which Moon Junghee documents seven years spent with her companion dog, Manu, capturing their journey together from cherished moments to their farewell due to cancer. Written from the perspective of a pet owner rather than an actress, her stories resonated with fellow pet families and local residents in attendance.
The publisher 'Muje,' which released the book, is operated by actor Park Jungmin and has previously presented several works dealing with animal rights and the relationship between humans and animals.
During the event, a message from CEO Park Jungmin was delivered, stating that "all proceeds from 'Manu Story' will be donated to animal-related organizations in collaboration with Muje."
Lee Sangmin, CEO of First Keepers, said, "It was even more meaningful to have local residents and employees participate in such a special event," adding, "I hope this book concert provided an opportunity to share the warmth of the year-end season and comfort one another."
After the event, a book signing session with Moon Junghee was held for those who owned 'Manu Story,' with many attendees participating and further enhancing the warm atmosphere on site.
