Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on December 23 that it has signed a land purchase agreement with the Korea Aerospace Administration to build the main office building within the Gyeongnam Aerospace Industrial Complex.
The Korea Aerospace Administration is the nation’s first central administrative agency dedicated to aerospace. The main office will be located on a 69,615-square-meter site in Block A4 of the Sacheon District within the industrial complex. The building will house infrastructure for aerospace mission operations, workspaces, and promotional exhibition areas.

The Gyeongnam Aerospace National Industrial Complex is divided into the Jinju District and the Sacheon District. With a total area of 1.65 million square meters, the complex completed the second phase of its development in September this year, following the approval of the industrial complex plan in 2017. LH plans to contribute to the creation of an aerospace convergence industry ecosystem by concentrating various support facilities and public infrastructure around the Korea Aerospace Administration’s main office.
Efforts to attract key anchor companies are also underway. In the Jinju District, Hana Aerodynamics completed its land purchase this month and aims to begin operating its production facilities in the first half of 2027. In the Sacheon District, Leading Aviation and CAMP have finalized their land contracts and are preparing for construction. Lim Dosik, Head of the Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters at LH, stated, "We will do our utmost to establish this area as the core platform for the nation’s strategic industries, making it the central hub of Korea’s aerospace industry with the Korea Aerospace Administration’s main office at its center."
