Establishing a Diverse Authentication System
to Enhance User Trust and Service Stability
Danggeun Alba is upgrading its authentication system to enhance user trust and strengthen service safety.
On December 23, Danggeun, the local community platform, announced that its job search service, Danggeun Alba, has added the Financial Certificate from the Korea Financial Telecommunications & Clearings Institute (KFTC) as a new authentication method. The introduction of the Financial Certificate is part of Danggeun Alba’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its authentication system in stages, aiming to further boost user trust and service stability.
Danggeun Alba is a service that helps job seekers and employers quickly connect for neighborhood-based, short-distance jobs. It is common for users to visit each other's homes or work together on a short-term or hourly basis, which is characteristic of the service. Danggeun Alba plans to continue providing various authentication methods that allow users to increase their own credibility.
In fact, over the past several months, Danggeun Alba has sequentially introduced various authentication methods to verify user identities from multiple angles, including Danggeun Pay account verification, ID verification, and ID-face matching verification. The newly added Financial Certificate is a widely used authentication method in over 1,200 institutions in Korea. It verifies users by cross-checking authentication information from the KFTC with Danggeun’s own identity verification data. As a cloud-based authentication method, it does not require a separate storage device, offering greater user convenience and enhanced security due to a lower risk of loss or data leakage.
With the addition of this new authentication method, Danggeun Alba users now have more options to choose from based on their situation and needs. Authentication can be completed through the profile authentication history tab in Danggeun Alba, and employers who complete additional authentication will see authentication badges displayed in both the top and bottom business information sections of their job postings. Job seekers will also have their authentication history tagged on their applications, allowing both parties to intuitively check each other's credibility.
A Danggeun representative stated, "We expect great synergy as Danggeun Alba, which prioritizes trust and safety, combines with the high-level authentication system of the KFTC, which is widely used in the domestic financial sector." The representative added, "Starting with this collaboration, we will continue to work with the KFTC to create a safe and convenient job search environment."
