According to the county on December 22, this evaluation, organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, is a system that selects outstanding institutions based on the systematic management and utilization of address information. The performance of metropolitan and basic local governments nationwide was assessed using a total of 10 indicators, including address assignment, object addresses, national point numbers, and the promotion and utilization of address information.
The county received high marks for its systematic management of address information facilities closely related to daily life and for various administrative efforts to enhance residents' convenience.
In particular, Sunchang County was recognized as an excellent institution due to positive evaluations of its maintenance of old or damaged building number plates, installation of object address plates, and strengthened promotional activities targeting county residents.
A county official stated, "This award is the result of recognizing the importance of address information management and our continuous efforts. We will continue to do our best to ensure that residents can conveniently use address information in their daily lives through regular inspections and maintenance."
