This program was designed to strengthen friendship and bonds through communication and exchange among various youth clubs. Following the first session on October 18 and the second on November 16, a total of approximately 130 youths participated in three sessions, culminating in a vibrant cultural experience at Gyeongju World and marking the fruitful end of an active year.
The youths who participated in this 'Picnic We Go' event are key members who have been actively involved at the Yangsan Youth Center over the past year.
Participants included members from youth self-governing organizations such as the Yangsan City Youth Participation Committee, Yangsan City Youth Council, and Yangsan City Youth Operation Committee, as well as members of the Youth Culture and Arts Troupe, festival planning team, rock band, dance team, choir, theater troupe, beauty team, volunteer group, and media planning team-all gathered in one place.
These youths have demonstrated passion in their respective fields throughout the year, making a positive impact on the local community. Through this cultural experience at Gyeongju World, they spent valuable time understanding each other's cultures and strengthening their bonds. They enjoyed thrilling rides together and completed missions in the lively atmosphere of the park, forming even closer relationships.
An official from the Yangsan Youth Center stated, "Through this 'Picnic We Go' activity, youths from various fields came together to communicate, exchange ideas, and positively influence one another. We will continue to provide support so that young people can discover their potential, develop social skills, and grow through diverse activities."
The Yangsan Youth Center will be recruiting a large number of new youth activists to participate in activities in 2026.
Youth participation organizations that will take part in Yangsan City's policy-making process are recruiting as follows: the Yangsan City Youth Council until January 22, 2026, and both the Yangsan City Youth Participation Committee and the Yangsan Youth Center Youth Operation Committee until January 29, 2026.
New members for the Youth Culture and Arts Troupe-including the choir, dance team, rock band, theater troupe, beauty team, media planning team, festival planning team, and volunteer group-who wish to showcase their talents and passion in fields such as music, dance, theater, and media, will be recruited until January 15, 2026.
