A Japanese woman in her 50s has been booked by police for attempting to trespass at the home of Jungkook, a member of the group BTS.
On December 22, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that they are investigating Ms. A, a Japanese woman in her 50s, on charges of attempted home invasion. At the request of the complainant, charges of violating the Stalking Punishment Act have also been applied.
Ms. A is accused of repeatedly attempting to unlock the door of Jungkook's single-family home in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, between December 12 and 14 of last month.
A police official stated, "The suspect has not yet been questioned, as she is not currently staying in Korea."
Previously, in August, a Korean woman in her 40s was referred to the prosecution on charges of home invasion and violation of the Stalking Punishment Act after entering Jungkook's home parking lot. A Chinese woman in her 30s, who attempted but failed to trespass, received a suspension of indictment.
