Assessment of Project Implementation and System Utilization
Wando County in South Jeolla Province announced on the 22nd that it received the Encouragement Award in the "AI and Internet of Things (IoT)-Based Senior Health Management Project Operation" category at the "Mobile Health Center System Utilization Performance Competition," hosted by the Korea Social Security Information Service and held at PJ Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.
This evaluation selected outstanding institutions among 200 health centers nationwide by reviewing the fidelity of project implementation and the utilization rate of the mobile management system over the past year.

This project supports participants in managing their own health by integrating the "Today Health App" with devices such as activity trackers, scales, blood pressure monitors, and blood glucose meters. The collected data is also used for individual monitoring and health consultations.
An assessment of 215 project completers in 2024 and 2025 revealed improvements in health indicators, such as better blood glucose and blood pressure levels, as well as increased muscle strength.
Director Han Kwangil stated, "I hope that county residents aged 65 and older will participate in the project and enhance their ability to manage their own health."
